About Our Client

The client is a growing multinational retail company with an established shared service setup based in BGC.

Job Description

  • Drive the global AP/AR accounting strategy, including transitioning responsibilities from external firms to internal teams.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual AP/AR financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Ensure adherence to global accounting standards through effective controls and processes.
  • Lead projects and manage resources focused on performance reporting and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability by leveraging financial data and insights.
  • Support the accounting sub-team in delivering high-quality financial statements within a dynamic business environment.
  • Work closely with other finance teams to maintain the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Optimize the team structure and mentor accounting teams to promote professional growth and development.

The Successful Applicant

  • Completed a degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • CPA preferred
  • With 10-15 years of extensive experience leading O2C, P2P, or R2R on a regional/global capacity in a Shared Service environment
  • Prior experience in a FMCG, retail, technology, or fast-paced industry
  • Strong people management experience and prior experience in leading managers
  • Able to work with a multicultural team and diverse senior stakeholders
  • Keen to work in a fast-paced environment
